IS 11906 : 1986 Recommendations for cement mortar lining for cast iron mild steel and ductile-iron pipes and fittings for transportation of water

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers recommendation for cement mortarlinings for cast-iron and ductile-iron pipe and fittings for waterand is intended for use as a supplement to those standard.

Note - This type of lining is used in particular in thetransport and distribution of water for domestic and industrialuse. The temperature of the water transported shall not exceed80�C.
