IS 11915 : 1986 Specification for Nylon Fabric for Making Mountaineering Equipment

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements of four varietiesof coated nylon fabric suitable for the manufacture ofmountaineering equipment after coating with neoprene, polyurethaneor polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin.

1.2 This standard does not specify the shade, feel, etc, of thecloth (see 3.3).
