IS 11950 : 1987 Specification for Tool Adaptors for Numerically Controlled Machine Tools (Tool Stationary Type)

1 Scope

Covers the dimensions and requirements of tool adaptors requiredfor mounting on numerically controlled machine tools (toolstationary type).

1.1 The tool shanks shall conform to IS 11172 : Parts 1 & 2: 1985 `Tool shanks for numerically controlled maching tools (toolstationary type): Part I Cylindrical shank; and Part 2Prismatic shank.
