IS 11989 : 1986 Specification for Compressed Air Dryers

1 Scope

Specifies reference conditions, acceptance test methods and themost important characteristics data of different dryers.

1.1 It is applicable to compressed air dryers working in thepressure range of 0.18 to 40 MPa (1.8 to 4Q0 bar), but excluding:

a) liquid absorption types,

b) cooling with after-cooler, and

c) over-compression.
