NATIONAL FOREWORD

This draft standard (Second Revision) which is identical to ISO 10113 : 2020 ‘Metallic materials - Sheet and strip - Determination of plastic strain ratio’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Mechanical Testing of Metals Sectional Committee and approval of the Metallurgical Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 1987 and subsequently revised in 2007. The first revision of this standard was published as IS 11999 : 2007 identical with 1SO 10113 : 1991. The second revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 10113 : 2020 under dual numbering system to harmonize it with the latest developments that have taken place at international level.
