1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the details of the installation andmonitoring by tape extensometer for observing slope surfacemovement, radial movement of lining of tunnels, deformations ofexcavation, and displacement of various structures.

Note - This instrument is not suitable for continuous recordingand monitoring.
