This Indian Standard (Part 2) which is identical with IEC Pub617-2 (1983) `Graphical symbols for diagrams - Part 2 : Symbolelements, qualifying symbols and other symbols having generalapplication, issued by the International ElectrotechnicalCommission (IEC), was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards onthe recommendation of the Basic Electrotechnical StandardsSectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical DivisionCouncil.
