This Indian Standard (Part 3) which is identical with IEC Pub617-3 (1983) `Graphical symbols for diagrams - Part 3: Conductorsand connecting devices; issued by the InternationalElectrotechnical Commission (IEC), was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendation of the BasicElectrotechnical Standards Sectional Committee and approval of theElectrotechnical Division Council.
