This Indian Standard (Part 7), which is identical with IEC Pub617-7 (1983) `Graphical symbols for diagrams - Part 7 Switchgear,controlgear and protective devices, issued by the InternationalElectrotechnical Commission (IEC), was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendation of the BasicElectrotechnical Standards Sectional Committee and approval of theElectrotechnical Division Council.
