1. SCOPE

This standard (Part 2) covers the method for the determination of absolute viscosity of bitumen and cutbacks by vacuum capillary viscometers at any specified temperature. It is applicable to materials having a viscosity range of 42 to 200 000 Poises.

NOTE - The standard covers three types of viscometers and anyone of them can be used for determination of absolute viscosity.
