1 Scope

1.1 This standard describes properties of 1,1,1-trichloroethane,the nature of hazards associated with it and essential informationon storage, handling, packing, labelling, disposal of waste,training and education, of personnel, personal protective equipmentand first aid.

1.1.1 This code, however, does not deal with the specificationsfor design of buildings, chemical engineering plants, storagevessels and equipment for operations control.
