IS 12145 : 1987 Quenched and tempered alloy steel forgings for pressure vessels

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements for quenched andtempered alloy steel forgings for pressure vessels, such as thoseused in reactor system. Specifically, it covers forgings for vessel closures, shells, flanges, tube sheets, rings, heads and similar parts.
