1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 1) applies to radio receivers of anykind, excluding television receivers, and to the parts of whichthey are composed or which are used as auxiliaries to suchreceivers.

1.2 This standard covers both mains-operated andbattery-operated receivers.
