1 SCOPE

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and method of sampling and test for multipurpose grease suitable for applications on all automotive vehicles and also as wheel bearing grease operating at temperatures ranging from - 20 °C to 120 °C.

1.2 This standard also covers grease containing molybdenum disulphide additive.
