1. SCOPE

1.1 This standard specifies the recommendations on selected performance characteristics of agricultural and forestry tractors fitted with diesel engines only.

1.2 This standard covers the following:

a)Criteria for acceptance of the tractor for thepurpose of subsidy/financing.

b)Tolerances on the values declared by themanufacturer andin certain cases minimum/maximumvalues of the performance characteristics and statutoryrequirements under the relevant act(s) of theagricultural tractors.

c)Criteria/options not expressly mentioned inthis standard cannot be taken intoconsideration for determiningvariants/models of tractors.

d)Criteria for providing administrativeextension and technical extension to earliertested tractor model(s). Criteria/options notexpressly mentioned in this standard cannotbe taken into consideration for determiningadministrative/technical extension oftractors
