This Indian Standard (Part 2), which is identical with ISO8063/2 : 1986 `Information processing - Data interchange on 6.30 mm(0.25 in) wide magnetic tape cartridge using IMFM recording fordata 252 ftpmm (6400 ftpi) - Part 2 Track format and method ofrecording for data interchange in start/stop mode', issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on 15 December 1989 on therecommendation of the Computers, Business Machines and CalculatorsSectional Committee (LTDC 24) and approval of the Electronics andTelecommunication Division Council.
