1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies the requirements, and methods ofsampling and test for nylon-6 polymer for the manufacture ofplastic items used in contact with foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals anddrinking water.

1.2 This standard does not purport to establish the suitabilityof the packaging media with particular foodstuffs, pharmaceuticalsand drinking water from other than toxicological considerations.
