1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers positive list of constituents ofnylon-6 polymers, the manufacturing residues and necessaryadditives which may be regarded as safe for use in contact withfoodstuffs, pharmaceuticals and drinking water, when present onlyin the prescribed limits of concentration.

1.2 It does not purport to established the suitability of theingredient singly and in a particular form other than toxicologicalconsiderations.
