1 Scope

1.1 This standard applies to pneumatic length measuringinstruments which operate on high pressure range as well as the lowpressure range.

1.2 The basic aim of this standard is to show the various waysin which the pneumatic length measuring instruments can be used fordifferent measurements at the same time lays out the conditions tobe fulfilled for such measurement.
