This Indian Standard (Part 1), which is identical with ISO8630-1 : 1987 `Information processing - Data interchange on 130 mm(5.25 in) flexible disk cartridges using modified frequencymodulation recording at 13 262 ftprad, on 80 tracks on each side -Part 1 : Dimensional, physical and magnetic characteristics,`issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on 10 February 1988on the recommendation of the Computers, Business Machines andCalculators Sectional Committee (LTDC 24), and approval of theElectronics and Telecommunication Division Council.
