1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the voltage bands for electricalinstallations.

1.2 The voltage bands defined are intended mainly for use inconnection with installation rules but may also be used whenpreparing requirements for electrical equipment.

1.3 This standard also covers standard values of nominal voltageof systems (in each voltage band) and frequency.

1.4 This standard does not include frequencies other than 50 Hzmeant for special power application.
