IS 12436 : 1988 Specification for Preformed Rigid Polyurethane (Pur) and Polyisocyanurate (Pir) Foams for Thermal Insulation

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements, and methods ofsampling and test for preformed rigid polyurethane (PUR) andpolyisocyanurate (PIR) foam for thermal insulation in the form ofboards, cut and moulded slabs, cut and moulded pipe sections, cutand moulded radiused and bevelled lags, panels with adhesiveintegrally laminated facings, panels with adhesive applied facings,and cut and moulded special shapes.
