1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part2) specifies performance for startingdevices (starters and ignitors) for tubular fluorescent and otherdischarge lamps for use on ac supplies up to 1 000 V at 50 Hz whichproduce starting pulses not greater than 5 kV.
