1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 2) covers the method to determinewhether insulating liquids are gas evolving or gas absorbing underthe test conditions when subjected to electric stress of sufficient intensity to cause an electric discharge through a gas phase in which a gas-oil interface is located under a nitrogen atmosphere.
