1. SCOPE

This standard deals with brazed low carbon steel cylinders intended for storage and transportation of low pressure liquefiable gases, other than toxic gases, of nominal capacity exceeding 500 ml but not exceeding 13 litres of water capacity. This standard lays down the minimum requirements for the materials, design, fabrication, construction, testing and marking on these cylinders
