IS 1260 : Part 1 : 1973 Pictorial marking for handling and labelling of goods: Part 1 Dangerous goods

1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part I) prescribes the pictorial markingsindicative of the hazards involved in handling of dangerous goods.The pictorial markings are intended to be used in labelling of thecontainers of such goods with a view to facilitating therecognition by persons of the main type of hazards involved inhandling them.
