NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Fourth Revision) which is identical with ISO 780 : 2015 ‘Packaging — Distribution packaging — Graphical symbols for handling and storage of packages’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Transport Packages, Packaging Codes, Freight Containers and Pallets Sectional Committee had been approved by the Transport Engineering Division Council.
