1. SCOPE

This Indian Standard covers the dimensions and requirements for the following abrasive specialties:

a) Rectangular sharpening stones (plain and combination);

b) Sticks (square, triangular, round and half-round) (refer to IS/ISO 603-11 : 1999);

c) Scythe stones;

d) Slip stones;

e) Rubbing bricks; and

f) Reaper files.
