IS 12637 : 1988 Woven Upholstery Fabrics - Plain, Tufted or Flocked - Specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the performance requirements for plain, tuftedor flocked woven upholstery fabrics made of man-made fibres or their blends withother fibres used in the manufacture of new indoor furniture.

1.2 It does not cover the knitted, bonded, laminated or surface-coatedfabrics and is not applicable to fabrics used in porch, deck or lawn furniture.
