IS 12646 : 1991 Textiles - Colour fastness rating - specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the minimum colour fastness ratings of all typesof woven and knitted textile fabrics and garments (natural or man-made and theirblends), including yarns, sewing threads and handloom materials to variousagencies. These ratings are expected to ensure satisfactory performance of thecoloured textiles during their actual use.
