IS 12668 : 1989 Melting characterstics of sponge iron/direct reduced iron (DRI)

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the melting characteristics ofsponge iron/direct reduced iron (DRI) in electric arc furnace, inbasic oxygen furnace when used as coolant, in cupola furnace and ininduction furnace.

1.2 This standard should be read in conjunction with IS 10812 :1984.
