IS 12686 : 1989 Abrasives - Diamond or Cubic Boron Nitride Micron Powder Sizes

1 Scope

This standard covers the requirements of powder sizes of diamond(natural or synthetic) or cubic boron nitride micron powders,standard size ranges of these powders and also the method ofmeasuring the particle size based on the use of an opticalmicroscope.

Note - For simplification, reference is made throughout thisstandard to `Diamond' grains but all indications also apply tocubic boron nitride.
