National Foreword
This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 6430 : 1992`Pneumatic fluid power - Single rod cylinders, 1 000 kPa (10 bar)series, with integral mountings, bores from 32 mm to 250 mm -Mounting dimensions, issued by the International Organization forStandardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of IndianStandards on the recommendation of the Pneumatic Fluid PowerSystems Sectional Committee and approval of the ProductionEngineering Division Council.
This standard was first issued in 1988 and was based on ISO 6430: 1983. Consequent upon the revision of ISO standard, this revisionhas been taken up by adopting ISO 6430 : 1992 to bring it in linewith latest ISO standard.
