IS 12746 : Part 2 : 1989 Telecontrol equipment and systems:Part 2 Environmental conditions and power supplies

1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 2) applies to telecontrol equipment andsystems with coded bit serial data transmission for monitoring andcontrol of geographically widespread processes.

1.2 The object of this standard (Part 2) is to specify classesfor environmental conditions under which telecontrol equipment hasto operate.

NOTE - The specified classes and given parameters correspondwith the international classes for electronic process controlequipment, but according to the practical needs of telecontrolequipment, the number of classes has been reduced in some cases.
