NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 14) which is identical with IEC TR 60904-14 : 2020 ‘Photovoltaic devices — Part 14: Guidelines for production line measurements of single-junction PV module maximum power output and reporting at standard test conditions’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Solar Photovoltaic Energy Systems Sectional Committee and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.

The text of IEC Standard has been approved as suitable for publication as an Indian Standard without deviations. Certain terminologies and conventions are, however, not identical to those used in Indian Standards. Attention is particularly drawn to the following:
