IS 12797 : 1989 Dental Materials - Dental Glass Polyalkenoate Cements - Specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes requirements for dental glasspolyalkenoate cements produced by the reaction between a powder ofacid soluble, aluminosilicate glass and an aqueous solution of apolyalkenoic acid.

1.2 Polyalkenoate cements prepared by the addition of water to amixture of dry acid and aluminosilicate glass are also covered bythis standard.
