IS 1280 : 1975 Foundry moulding boxes of steel construction

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers dimensions of foundry moulding boxesfabricated from steel and their main components. The range of sizescovered is from 315 X 315 X 80 mm to 2 000 X 2 000 X 500 mm.

1.1.1 The sizes of moulding boxes higher than those specified inthis standard shall be as agreed to between the manufacturer andthe purchaser.

1.2 This standard applies only to the box parts with pin holeson the longitudinal side and fitted with round bushes on one endand elongated on the other end.
