IS 12823 : 2025 Prelaminated Medium Density Particle Boards from Wood and other Lignocellulosic Material - Specification
1 SCOPE
1.1 This standard covers the requirement of medium density prelaminated particle boards for general purpose and for special applications.
1.2 This standard does not cover veneered particle boards given in IS 3097.
1.3 This standard does not cover the surface requirements of medium density particle boards with any overlays other than those mentioned in this standard.
NOTE - The requirements for the particle board used as base material in the manufacturing of any further overlaid medium density particle boards are given in the material clause of this standard.
