This Indian Standard, which is identical with, ISO 3610 : 1976`Modular units for machine tool construction - Support brackets,issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO),was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on 19 November 1987on the recommendation of Machine Tools, Machine Tool Elements andWoodworking Machines Sectional Committee (EDC 11) and approval ofthe Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
