IS 12863 : 1989 Symbol for the pictorial standardization of aircraft cargo handling system for unit load devices

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies symbols for the pictorialstandardization of aircraft cargo handling systems for unit loaddevices (ULDS).

1.2 These symbols shall be applicable to all aircraft cargohandling systems for under floor as well as for main-deck systems.The conveyance, guidance, restraint power drive unit and degree ofautomation for the total cargo handling system shall be depictedusing the symbols.
