IS 1287 : 1993 Electric toasters

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers general, safety and performancerequirements for electric toasters for household and similarpurposes, designed for connection to supply at voltage notexceeding 250 V ac, single phase or dc.

Note - Similar purposes denote are in other than householdpremises, e.g. coffee-houses, tea-rooms, small hotels, where theappliance is used in a way similar to that in a normal household.
