This Indian Standard, which is identical with ISO 3407 : 1983`Information processing - Information interchange on 3.81 mm (0.150in) magnetic tape cassette at 4 cpmm (100 cpi), phase encoded at 63ftpmm (1600 ftpi)', issued by the International Organization forStandardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standardson 15 December `1989 on the recommendation of the Computers,Business Machines and Calculators Sectional Committee (LTDC 24) andapproval of the Electronics and Telecommunication Division Council.
