1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the general classification of Indiantimber species suitable for door and window shutters and frames. Italso lays down the general requirements of quality, seasoning,moisture content and preservative treatment for timber.

1.2 This standard does not, however, cover the species suitablefor flush doors.
