National Foreword
This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 7653:1985 `Roadvehicles - Commercial vehicles - Couplings between power take-offs(PTO) and ancillary driven units' issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on 22 February 1990 on the recommendation of theAutomotive Transmission Systems Sectional Committee (TED 3) andapproval of the Transport Engineering Division Council.
