IS 12941 : 1990 Code of practice for selection and use of super capacity bucket elevator

1 Scope

1.1 This Indian Standard covers the recommendations for theselection and use of super capacity bucket elevator.

1.2 This Indian Standard also lays down the general requirementsfor buckets, chain, chain sprockets and fasteners for fixingbuckets to chains, casing and drive arrangements for vertical supercapacity bucket elevators.

1.3 This Indian Standard does not cover the requirements ofinclined super capacity bucket elevators and is also not applicableto elevators handling material which do not behave as bulk solid.
