1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements and methods of testfor tungsten halogen lamps. The lamps covered by this standard aredesigned specifically for use in area lighting, sports lighting andfilm studio lamps used for stage lighting, TV studio, photographicstudio, etc.

1.1.1 Lamps for automobile, aircraft and similar applicationsare not covered by this standard.
