This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 8892 : 1987`Oilseed residues - Determination of total residual hexane' issuedby the international Organization for Standardization (ISO), wasadopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on 25 March 1990 on therecommendation of the Nutrition Sectional Committee (FAD 21) andapproval of the Food and Agriculture Division Council.
