This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 7592 : 1983`Calibrated round steel link lifting chains - Guidelines to properuse and maintenance' issued by the International Organization forStandardization (ISO), was adopted by the Bureau of IndianStandards on the recommendations of the Cranes and Lifting ChainsSectional Committee (HMD 14) and approval of the Heavy MechanicalEngineering Division Council.
