IS 13086 : 2021/ISO 8139 : 2018 Pneumatic Fluid Power - Cylinders, 1 000 kPa ( 10 bar ) Series - Mounting Dimensions of Rod-end Spherical Eyes ICS 23.100.20 PGD 36
Revised Standard from Last Update.
NATIONAL FOREWORD
This Indian Standard (Second Revision) which is identical with ISO 8139 : 2018 'Pneumatic fluid power - Cylinders,1 000 kPa (10 bar) series — Mounting dimensions of rod-end spherical eyes' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Fluid Power Systems Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.
In pneumatic fluid power systems, power is transmitted and controlled through a gas under pressure within a circuit. One component of such systems is the pneumatic cylinder.
One component of such systems is the pneumatic fluid power cylinder. This is a device that converts power into linear mechanical force and motion. It consists of a movable element, i.e. a piston and piston rod, operating within a cylindrical bore.
This standard was first published in 1991 by adopting ISO 8139 : 1986. It was subsequently revised in 1999 to align it with ISO 8139 : 1991. The second revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 8139 : 2018.
