This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 898-6 : 1994`Mechanical properties of fasteners - Part 6: Nuts with specifiedproof load values - Fine pitch thread' issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendation of the Bolts, Nuts andFasteners Accessories Sectional Committee and approval of the Basicand Production Engineering Division Council.
